In 2006 I participated in more outdoor art shows than I had in the past. It was nice to get out in the public and see first hand the reaction that different paintings trigger. As artists we are often isolated in our studios. It is educational to step back and see if the public sees the same beauty in a scene as I did when it caught my eyes.
